GED Programs and Home-Schooling Assistance

   Home-Schooling Assistance
 
For families who wish to home-school their children, Avalon Learning Center offers a general assistance program that is designed to help students in all areas of study.   Parents who have opted to administer a home-schooling program are invited to audit tutoring sessions and to consult with the director regarding any issues or questions that may arise concerning  the home-schooling curriculum

GED and UNL High School Programs 

Non-traditional students who are pursuing a GED diploma via a state endorsed or privately accredited program may receive one-on-one tutoring to help them complete the required curriculum.  Avalon Learning Center also facilitates the University of Nebraska High School Program which is offered by the UNL.  On completion of the program, students are awarded a high school diploma that is issued by the university.
